Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-28
This Acceptable Use Policy describes conduct that is prohibited on the Stature service. It applies to everyone who accesses Stature. Violating this policy may result in suspension or termination under the Terms of Service and may be reported to authorities where appropriate.
General
You agree to use the service lawfully and in good faith, and not to misuse it or help anyone else do so. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content you upload and process.
Prohibited content and uses
You must not use Stature to upload, process, generate, store, or distribute content that:
- is illegal or facilitates illegal activity;
- infringes intellectual-property rights or misappropriates trade secrets;
- you do not have the rights or lawful basis to provide or process;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or constitutes hate speech or incitement to violence;
- is sexually exploitative of minors or involves child sexual abuse material;
- contains malware, ransomware, or other malicious code;
- violates privacy or publicity rights.
Data you must not upload
Unless a separate written agreement expressly permits it, you must not upload:
- protected health information or other special-category data;
- payment card numbers or financial account credentials;
- government-issued identifiers;
- children's personal data;
- any data classified as regulated tier, which the service rejects at ingestion by default.
You are responsible for classifying content into the correct sensitivity tier.
Security and integrity
You must not:
- attempt to access, retrieve, or infer data belonging to another tenant or workspace;
- probe or bypass tenant isolation, clearance controls, authentication, or authorization;
- attempt to escalate your own privileges;
- attempt prompt injection, jailbreaks, or other attacks against the service or its models;
- attempt to defeat citation enforcement or cause the service to present ungrounded output as grounded;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without written authorization;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code or models except as permitted by law;
- introduce malware or interfere with service integrity or performance.
Authorized security research and good-faith vulnerability disclosure are welcome. Contact [email protected] before testing.
Abuse, fair use, and automated access
You must not exceed or circumvent plan limits, fair-use caps, or metered allowances; share a single individual account to evade pricing; use the service to build a competing product by systematically extracting outputs; engage in automated access that degrades the service; or resell or sublicense Stature except as expressly permitted.
Third-party and connected-source use
When you connect sources, upload transcripts, or ingest public or social content, you must have the rights and required licenses to process that content, comply with connected provider terms, and not use connectors to circumvent paywalls or licensing restrictions.
AI output responsibilities
You must not present AI-generated output as fact without verification or use the service to generate deceptive, fraudulent, or impersonating content. Output may contain errors. You are responsible for review before reliance.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend access, remove content, restrict features, or terminate access to protect Stature, customers, and third parties. For serious or ongoing violations, or where required by law or to prevent harm, we may act without prior notice. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.
Reporting
Report abuse, security issues, or policy violations to [email protected] or [email protected].
